Why Should I Join?
- To affirm your sense of responsibility for the physical world immediately around you.
- To be an official member of a movement for good.
- To be part of a fellowship; a team of like-minded men.
- For the hat. It looks great. Women will notice it, and men will want one.
Ranger Obligations
- If you see litter in your neighborhood, town square, or natural area (like a park or a beach), Rangers have an obligation to clean it up, every time.
- If you see someone littering, Rangers have an obligation to confront them. Be as nice as you want, but as mean as you must, to get them to change their behavior.
- Embody the Ranger spirit of leadership: Train your family, friends, or neighbors to clean up litter and to confront litterers.
- Embrace the Ranger spirit of fellowship: Recruit other men to join the cause, meetup at local parks to walk the paths, or, just plan outdoor events to inspire love of Nature in others!
- Wear your hat when you're at natural areas. It's a symbol of your commitment to the Rangers' cause, a reminder to yourself of your obligations, and a signal to others that you're part of a team.
